Our Year 4 prepares for GL Assessment, Durham CEM, ISEB, and other 11+ exams. This course sets out the foundation for our Year 5 course; it works to build students' basic skills and techniques and develop a strong work ethic for exams.

Year 5:
Preparation 11+ Course
Our Year 5 intensive course prepares students directly for the 11+ exams, building on the foundations of our Year 4 course or for those starting from scratch. From August 2026, all new students will be guaranteed qualification, provided they pass our Admissions Test in English, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Our courses start in September/October/November and continue until the start of the summer recess. We run special summer intensive courses for both existing and new students.
Our Year 5 course highlights are:

Year 9-10 GCSE Maths and English courses prepare and develop students’ necessary skills for the GCSE Maths and English exams and ensure they maximise their potential. We cover all the exam boards: AQA, Edexcel, OCR and City and Guilds.
The highlights of this preparation course are:

Preparation for English literature and language, the GCSE Higher level Maths

Year 11:
GCSE Maths Guaranteed Scheme
This intensive course prepares students for the GCSE Maths examination. Our Year 11 GCSE Maths preparation course guarantees every student will achieve at least one level above his/her school’s expected grade. If a student fails to achieve it despite regularly completing his/her homework, we will refund the entire tuition fee. Please check Guaranteed Success or Full Refund section for further details.

Intensive Summer Courses for the 11+ Candidates
Chowdhury's Tuition Centre offers special Intensive Summer Courses for the 11+ candidates. We provide this service for both internal and external students. We are so confident in our structure and methods that we guarantee the qualification of all students that we accept.
Year 5:
Summer Intensive Course for the External Students
Our workshop highlights are::
This intensive summer course is designed to thoroughly prepare your child for the 11+ exams and help them achieve success. For this 6-week intensive course, we accept only seven students, and each one of them will be guaranteed qualification; if not, you will receive a full refund.

10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, 25 hours a week.
Assessment tests (3 hours) between 01/06/2026 and 10/07/2026; Fee £120.
Only seven students, all guaranteed to qualify for the 11+ exams.
All 11+ subjects covered: Maths, English (including creative writing), Verbal Reasoning and Non-verbal Reasoning
The fee is £700 per week (£4200 for the duration, must be paid in advance)
Year 5:
Summer Intensive Course for Existing Students
This intensive summer course is designed to thoroughly prepare your child for the 11+ exams and help them achieve success. For this 6-week intensive course, we accept only existing students. All guaranteed students must attend this intensive course; failure to do so will result in the loss of their membership in the guaranteed scheme.
